On the afternoon 16^th November 2022, the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI), and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOIC)

convened for a LBF’s Steering Committee Meeting  at Lao Plaza Hotel to discuss  the ongoing process of the Lao Business Forum (LBF) 14. This meeting was joined by Mr Malaythong KOMMASITH, Minister of MOIC; Mr. Oudet SOUVANNAVONG, President of the LNCCI; Ms. Valy VETSAPHONG, Vice President of the LNCCI; Mr. Xaybandith RASPHONE, Vice  President of the LNCCI; Mr. Khamphet VONGDALA, Director General of Department of Planning and Cooperation  (DPC); Ms. Manivone VONGXAY, Director General of the Department of Import and Export (DIMEX); Mr. Sengphanomchone INTHASANE, Deputy Director General of DPC; Mr. Phouxay THEPPHAVONG, Secretary General; and the LBF Secretariat. The highlight of this meeting was the discussion of the overall effectiveness of the LBF mechanism, as well as issues that were raised in the year of 2022.
