Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR – July 14, 2025 –The Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment successfully

organized a workshop on the Global Carbon Council (GCC) Program, empowering stakeholders to unlock climate finance opportunities. Held at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Vientiane, the event brought together 50+ participants from key sectors like agriculture, energy, infrastructure, and conservation.

Chaired by Mr. Salermxay Thiengtham, LNCCI Board of Director, the workshop provided critical insights into GCC certification, carbon markets, and climate-resilient project development.

“This is your chance to align projects with global standards, secure funding, and position Laos as a climate leader,” said Mr. Salermxay. “LNCCI will bridge businesses, government, and GCC for sustainable growth.”
