The Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), on behalf of Employers organization was organized the seminar for the business sector on the role

of the Disaster Management Committee, the Disaster Management Law in implementation and support for coordination on TOR, on June 27th, 2025 at the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI) meeting room.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Xaybandith Rsaphone, the vice President of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on hebalf of the Employers’ Representative Office (LNCCI), and also co-chaired by Ms. Chansy Phimphachnah, the President of LCCC the Lao Civil Society Organizations (CSO) Coordination Office, as well as the executive committees of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Employers’ Representative Office, the Lao Federation Trade Unions, the Department of Labor and Welfare of Vientiane capital, the Business Group Association, and relevant divisions of the LNCCI and the business sector was attended.
The objective of the meeting is to disseminate the role of the Disaster Management Committee, the Disaster Management Law in implementing and supporting coordination, strategy Plan 2020-2030 through the TOR provisions of the coordination mechanism of cooperation to partners from the government, business (private) sector and civil society organizations. At the same time, the TOR of the LDPP coordination mechanism will be disseminated to be implemented as an internal TOR of each sector.
