On 15 September 2022, at 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI), Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MoIC), Embassy of Japan to Lao PDR, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will host a Dialogue on Responsible Business Practice in Lao

PDR on the occasion of the inception of the Project on “Improving Performance, Accountability, Conduct, and Transparency of Businesses in Lao PDR” (IMPACT Biz), funded by the Government of Japan.

The Dialogue aims to raise awareness of international standards and Lao PDR’s commitments to responsible business practice, as well as highlight the global and regional trends among key stakeholders in the country. The event will showcase the new MoIC-LNCCI-UNDP “IMPACT Biz” Project and strengthen a multi-stakeholder network on responsible business practice in Lao PDR.
