attended the Regional Committee Meeting and Reflection Workshop of Asian Preparedness Partnership (APP) on Disaster Response on 23-25 July 2025 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on behalf of private sector with representatives from the Department of Social Welfare, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, representatives from the Lao Civil Society Coordination Office, projects team and partners in relevant countries, with more than 150 participants.

The objective of the meeting was to achieve sustainable cooperation to move forward with the future of national preparedness partnerships and key stakeholders from the 07 member countries of the Asian Preparedness Partnership (APP).

This meeting provided the forum to exchange progress, share and identify challenges, and seek opportunities to enhance and sustain national preparedness partnerships (NPPs) and present plans for future engagement across the APP network on emergency preparedness, disaster response, and disaster preparedness. It also provided an important opportunity for dialogue, sharing insights, and discussing ways forward to advance the strategic plans of developing countries in Asia and the Pacific.
