Mr. Phouxay Thepphavong is Secretary General of Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He graduated from Bachelor of Art, major in Business Administration Europe-Asia Business College and Lao National University of Laos. He had verity experiences on business management particularly long term Leadership Training in India, Business Management Training Programme (BMTP) in Yokohama, Japan, Economic Empowerment Fellowship in Washington DC, USA, training on John Maxwell 360 Leadership in Vientiane, Laos and others training in Europe, Asia.

With more than 12 years working with Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Phouxay has taken of many responsibilities such as supervising all divisions and office of LNCCI, coordinating and organizing  LNCCI’s Standing Committee and Board Meeting to discuss about LNCCI’s policy and development, leading Lao Business Forum Secretariat to organize  Private Sector Working Group to find constrains and issues faced by Local and International investors presented to Lao Government at Inter Ministerial Taskforce and Lao Business Forum (LBF) chaired by Prime Minster of Lao PDR. In addition, he is regularly coordinating with government agencies, provincial chambers of commerce and industry, business groups and associations to hear about current business situation or the improvement of law or regulation.

Mr. Phouxay has participated number meeting, workshops, seminars, conferences and negotiation, discussion on business issues and gives number of presentations on business opportunities in Laos to local and foreign companies as well as providing regularly on Management Training Program (MTP) for members of LNCCI.
