WEBINAR ON DIGITAL TRADE FACILITATION AND SUSTAINABLE BUSIBESS IN THE TIMES OF PANDEMIC ORGANISED BY APTA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ON 4 TH OF JUNE 2020

APTA CCI will hold a webinar on Digital trade facilitation and Sustainable Business in the Times of Pandemic. UNESCAP-Bangkok had agreed to have a public private webinar forum with APTA CCI on APTA regional cooperation and how it can help economic recovery and building back better.

This webinar is divided into 2 sessions first between the Government representatives and APTA CCI officials and the second session exclusively for APTA business leaders. As we are aware of, the COVID-19 has posed the biggest challenge to trade and investment environment since the Second World War, and as a result, government, trade chambers and other stakeholder look out for ways and means of overcoming challenges and reviving the business environment while respecting the new social norms such as social distancing, etc. In this context APTA CCI-the apex body of the private sectors of APTA countries-view the introduction and implementation of digital trade facilitation is a great leap forward towards meeting the challenge of COVID-19.

There are representative of business in Laos will join this event. Mr.Oudet Souvannavong, President of Lao National Chamber of commerce and industry will be a speaker in session 2 and Mr.Thanongsinh Kanlagna, vice president of Lao National Chamber of commerce and industry will be a speaker in session 1.
