This includes not only physical infrastructure but also digital platforms supporting e-commerce and financial transactions; and

– Strengthening Regional Collaboration: The leaders highlighted successful collaborative projects, such as the Laos-China Railway, and stressed the importance of regional cooperation to overcome challenges and maximize the synergistic potential of the Mekong sub-region.

– Ensuring Sustainable and Inclusive Development: A commitment to sustainable and inclusive development was a recurring theme. Leaders emphasized the need to balance economic growth with environmental protection and social equity, ensuring that the benefits of development reach all communities. The crucial role of the private sector in driving innovation and investment was also underscored.
