Sub-Regional Connectivity on the Sub region and Former Indochina Region Comprising of Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Vietnam

The Prime Ministers of Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, convened at the CLV Networking Breakfast today to discuss strengthening connectivity within the Sub-Mekong and Indochina regions. The event highlighted a shared commitment to fostering regional growth and prosperity through collaborative infrastructure development and sustainable practices.

– Enhancing Connectivity: All three leaders emphasized the critical role of connectivity—both physical (roads, railways, sea and dry ports) and digital transformation in unlocking the region’s full economic potential. They stressed the importance of efficient logistics, harmonized regulations, and cross-border collaboration;

– Enhancing Infrastructure Investments: Each nation reported significant investments in upgrading their respective infrastructure to enhance trade and economic integration within ASEAN and beyond.
